Meet D.C.

A small business owner's focus at City Hall

D.C. Reeves is a native of Pensacola. Born and raised in the city, he now serves as the 64th Mayor. His connection to the community is personal—it's where he grew up, became an entrepreneur, and is raising his daughter.

Before entering public service, D.C. was a local small business owner, founding Perfect Plain Brewing Co., which grew into a downtown anchor with more than 50 employees. In 2022, he was elected Mayor of Pensacola—its youngest in over 100 years. On day one, he hit the ground running, bringing a commonsense, small business owner's focus to City Hall.

It has been the honor of my life to serve as your Mayor. Every day, I am driven by a simple truth: Pensacola is more than just a city—it is our home. We have secured historic wins together, from landing the American Magic global headquarters and breaking ground on the Hollice T. Williams Greenway to launching the much-needed Pensacola International Airport expansion. These milestones aren't just projects; they are proof of what we can achieve when we lead with vision and a deep love for our community.

But our work is just beginning. My focus remains on the pillars of a strong city: safety, housing, and jobs. We are continuing to invest in our first responders, expanding attainable housing so our workforce can live where they work, and attracting high-quality jobs to power our future. Together, we are building a safer, more affordable, and more prosperous Pensacola for everyone.
